Shipping delays to the US
We received feedback from US customers that shipping can be quite slow today – in some cases up to 6-8 weeks. Unfortunately we can’t do anything about this. With the new electronic customs declaration we had expected that shipping times are faster as the customs authorities receive all package data (content, value, …) electronically. However, this doesn’t seem to be the case everywhere. Especially in the US customs processing and USPS delivery seem to be very slow today. Based on customer feedback, it seems that registered mail shipments are faster than unregistered mail. Therefore, we recommend US customers to use registered mail even for low-value goods. We hope this situation will improve soon. However, we don’t get any direct feedback from US customs or USPS, therefore we depend on customer’s feedback.
